- Linda McMahon, who had been leading Democrat Chris Murphy in the U.S. Senate race in Connecticut, finds herself trailing her opponent in the latest University of Connecticut poll. The poll gives Murphy 37% to McMahon's 33%. Of course, that leaves a lot of undecided voters, so McMahon has lots of room to regain the lead.
