Devon Returning To TNA For One Night?, Dixie Comments On Wrestler Safety, Hogan, Mickie

- Scott Fishman of The Miami Herald has a new two-part feature up where they spoke to several wrestling personalities about how old is too old when it comes to performing in a wrestling ring. It was noted that TNA requires health screenings before their wrestlers compete and at all events they have proper medical staff on hand. TNA President Dixie Carter said:

"TNA takes the health and welfare of our athletes, staff and fans very seriously. We make every effort to ensure their safety. In the unfortunate circumstance something does go wrong, we have experts available to provide the best care possible."

- Hulk Hogan says he has a surprise for Aces & 8s when he goes to their clubhouse to rescue Joe Parks on this week's Impact Wrestling. Hogan tweeted:

"Got a surprise for Aces&8's Thursday on Spike 8pm let's just say HOLLYWOOD will be back to his old self again HOLLYWOODHH4LIFE2sweet"

- TNA Knockout Mickie James has a pair of music performances booked for this weekend in North Carolina. Friday, September 28th she will be at the Wild Wing Cafe in Asheville, North Carolina at 10pm. Admission is $7. The next night, September 29th, Mickie will be at Club Hellas in Hope Mills, North Carolina.. She will meet fans from 9pm until 10pm, judge a bikini bull riding contest and then perform from 10:30 until 11pm.

- As noted yesterday, four un-named wrestlers will compete for a shot at the TNA Television Title on this week's episode of Impact Wrestling. Apparently Devon will come back for one night to defend and likely drop the TV Title.
