Former WWF Star In Bad Shape Following Hip Surgery, Chris Jericho In Hollywood, Edge
- Jim Powers, who appeared for the World Wrestling Federation and World Championship Wrestling, is presently hospitalized after acquiring an infection following hip surgery last month.
The former Young Stallions member underwent hip replacement surgery on August 3. After undergoing a second surgery three weeks later, he acquired a staph infection. The 54-year-old is currently in a rehabilitation facility receiving antibiotics through an IV. He is expected to remain in the facility for at least two more weeks and will then undergo hip surgery again.
