Jay Lethal To Receive ROH Title Shot, Davey Richards Makes Surprise Return

- Davey Richards, who is advertised to make his return this coming Saturday night at Death Before Dishonor X: State of Emergency, made a surprise appearance at the ROH Caged Hostility event in Charlotte, NC on Saturday night. Richards addressed the crowd by stating that he loved wrestling, and that he is very ashamed of the person he's been outside the ring during the last year. Richards will still appear this Saturday, as advertised.

- Jay Lethal has been granted a match against the ROH World Champion on October 6th when ROH emanates from Rahway, New Jersey — Lethal's home state. In recent weeks, ROH have questioned fans through social mediums such as Facebook and Twitter asking who they believe should challenge Kevin Steen for the ROH World Championship, with fans unanimously voting in favor of Lethal. The former TNA X Division Champion has been asking Jim Cornette for a chance to solve the "Kevin Steen problem," and he has received his answer.
