TNA Live Event Results From Wilkes-Barre (9/16): Matt Morgan Appears, Hardy Takes Shot At TNA

Christy Hemme played guitar and sang the national anthem to open the show.

AJ Styles vs. Kaz (w/ Christopher Daniels)
The match started with Kaz and Daniels getting some heat from the crowd. Kaz won by pinfall when Daniels held AJ's legs down from outside the ring. AJ went after Daniels, but was attacked by Daniels and Kaz. Kurt Angle then ran in and made the save. Bobby Roode ran in to help Kaz and Daniels. Austin Aries came in with a hockey stick to help Angle & AJ. Aries then challenged them to a six man tag match at the end of the night.

Tara vs. Miss Tessmacher
At multiple times during the match while Miss Tessmacher was down, Tara was distracted by Matt Morgan, who was trying to enter the ring until he was escorted out by security. Tessmacher went on to pin Tara.

Christopher Daniels (w/ Kaz) vs. Kurt Angle
Back and fourth match with Kaz constantly distracting Kurt. Angle won the match via disqualification. Roode, Daniels and Kaz attacked Angle until AJ and Aries made the save. A six-man tag team match is announced as the main event.

Robbie E. vs. Mr.Anderson
Match started out with Robbie E. displaying his dancing skills. Mr. Anderson mocked him by doing the same moves, and then planted Robbie with a clothesline. At one point, Robbie E. attempted to leave and go backstage, but Anderson got him in the ring before the 10 count. Anderson finally won with the mic check.

James Storm vs. Jeff Hardy
This was the best match of the night. The match was going back and fourth. There are a lot of "Let's go Hardy" (mostly women and kids) and "Let's go Cowboy" (men) chants. Hardy reversed Storm's kick and hits him with a Twist of Fate. Hardy went for the pin, but the bell rang at 2 as the time limit expired. The match was a draw. The crowd chanted for five more minutes, but the referee said that the match was over. Hardy said outside of the ring, "that's TNA for you." They shake hands and the crowd people cheered.

After the match, Matt Morgan ran into the ring and Carbon Footprinted the referee. Morgan was escorted out by security while the referee was wheeled out.

Daniels, Kaz and Bobby Roode vs. AJ Styles, Kurt Angle and Austin Aries
Match starts with everyone cheering Aries while Daniels tries to get heat. Daniels then argued with a woman at ringside and flipped her off. AJ Styles won the match for his team after pinning Kaz with the Styles Clash.

Overall it was a good show. The Hardy vs. Storm match definitely stole the show here.
