More On WWE Not Blurring WWF Logo, Norton Teams With Muta, Rikishi, WWE In Detroit
- WWE will return to Detroit, Michigan for a RAW live event on December 26th at the Joe Louis Arena. The pre-sale begins Friday and the password is SLAM.
- Former WWE Intercontinental Champion Rikishi turns 47 years old today.
- Former WCW star Scott Norton returned to All Japan Pro Wrestling on October 7th at Korakuen Hall. Norton teamed with The Great Muta for a nWo Japan reunion. They defeated Taiyo Kea and Masa Fuchi. Former nWo partner Masahiro Chono was on commentary and posed with them in the ring after the match.
- We noted before that WWE will now be able to use the old WWF scratch logo on DVD releases after some kind of settlement with the World Wildlife Fund. WWEDVDNews.com reports that the logo will begin showing up with the new Brock Lesnar: Here Comes The Pain set that comes out on October 30th. The standard WWE logo still is displayed in the bottom corner of the screen at all times but the WWF logo is not blurred out at various places like the ring apron.
