- As noted earlier, Dave Batista was scheduled to face Rashid Evans — not to be confused with UFC light heavyweight Rashad Evans — this Saturday, however the fight fell through. Evans was arrested after violating his probation, and will not be released from jail in time for the fight. Batista will still be making his MMA debut this Saturday, and his opponent will be announced Tuesday morning.

"This is going to be a dynamite event," said matchmaker Patrick Sullivan. "Dave Bautista's loyal fans have waited years to see him cross over into mixed martial arts and they will get their money's worth on Saturday night. Dave has been working incredibly hard since this fight was announced. He's in tremendous shape and ready to fight. He's going to show the entire MMA world what he's capable of inside the cage."
