WWE "Main Event" Recap: Team Hell No Vs.Team Rhodes Scholars (Tag Titles), Miz Issues Challenge

Welcome to the WrestlingInc.com WWE Main Event Recap. This week's show opens with the theme and pyro with crowd shots. Michael Cole welcomes us to the show and he is joined by Miz. The Tag Titles are on the line tonight as Team Hell No defends against Team Rhodes Scholars. We footage from RAW of Miz' involvement with Team Hell No.

-Josh Mathews is standing by in the back with Team Hell No. Daniel Bryan and Kane argue like a married couple. Kane walks off and Bryan is attacked from behind by Team Rhodes Scholars. They drop Bryan on some equipment and high-tail it as Kane returns to check on his partner. We go back to Cole who sends to a video for Team Hell No. Back to the ring as Cody & Sandow make their entrance.

Back from the break as Cole tells us that Daniel Bryan has been medically cleared to compete tonight. Kane & Bryan enter with Bryan favoring his ribs.

WWE Tag Team Championship: Team Hell No (c) vs. Team Rhodes Scholars

Kane & Bryan immediately rush the ring and clean house before the bell even rings. Cody gets in the ring as the bell rings and Kane gets the upper hand on him. Kane comes off the ropes with a shoulderblock and tags Bryan who No Kicks to Cody in the corner. Bryan tags Kane back in and holds Cody up for him but Cody ducks and Kane ends up punching Bryan in the face. Kane and Bryan have a shoving match. Kane goes to offer his hand to pick Bryan up off the mat and Cody hits him with a dropkick and takes him out of the ring. Sandow takes advantage of Kane on the outside as we go to commercial.

We're back as Sandow takes it to Kane in the ring. Cody tags in and makes a cover on Kane for 2. Cody hits a moonsault off the corner on Kane, they both struggle to get up. Kane catches him with a back body drop and tags Bryan in. Bryan hits No Kicks in the corner and sends Rhodes in for a clothesline and gets 2. Bryan goes up top but takes too long because of Sandow on the apron and misses with a headbutt on Cody. Cody stumbles toward Sandow and tags him in. Sandow gets 2 on Bryan and tosses him out of the ring. Sandow sends Bryan in hard on the outside and goes back in the ring as Bryan favors his left shoulder. Bryan rolls back in and is met by stomps from Sandow. Sandow works Bryan over in the ring apron. Sandow applies a body scissors as we take another break.

We're back. Sandow places Bryan up top in the corner but Bryan pushes him off and comes off with a missile dropkick. Both men lay on the mat as the ref counts. Bryan makes it to Kane who turns it up against Sandow and takes care of Cody on the apron as well. Kane hits a clothesline off the top to Sandow and hits him with a chokeslam and tags Bryan who comes off the top with a headbutt for the win.

Matt Striker congratulates the champs at ringside and asks Bryan if he can bury the hatchet with Miz. Kane takes the mic before he can answer and tells him his reply should be "Yes." Miz drops his headset and walks over toward them and puts his hand out. Bryan is reluctant; Kane whispers in his ear and Bryan starts chanting, "No." Miz keeps his hand out but Bryan puts his arms out for a hug. Miz pauses and walks back to the announce booth. Bryan and Kane leave up the ramp. We go to break.

-Cole and Miz interview Dolph Ziggler from the announce booth via the Titantron and ask his take on what just occurred. Ziggler says his team at Survivor Series has a leader who won't abandon them and their chances of winning are "AWESOME." Ziggler points out the Kofi and Miz hate each other, Kane and Bryan hate each other, and Orton hates everyone. Miz asks when Ziggler has ever main-evented a PPV. Ziggler says he is Mr. Money in the Bank. Miz says Ziggler talks about stealing the show but he can't even steal the World Title. He says Ziggler is nothing more than Vickie's puppet. Miz challenges Ziggler to a match for next week's show. Miz says Ziggler has only won one big match and he is the biggest loser in history and Ziggler runs down Miz' hometown crowd, saying that distinction goes to the Cleveland Browns. Ziggler accepts the challenge for next week.

Santino vs. David Otunga

The match is in progress as we return from break and takes a backseat to a Domino's and 5-Hour Energy plug. Santino hits an armdrag to Otunga and holds on with an armbar. Otunga gets up but Santino comically runs the ropes and takes him back down with the armbar. Otunga gets the advantage in the corner and puts his foot on Santino as he poses for a 1 count. Otunga continues to work Santino over on the mat. Santino sidesteps and Otunga goes shoulder-first into the corner. Santino gets his momentum back and puts on the Cobra and strikes Otunga for the win.

Santino celebrates in the ring and Miz talks with Cole about his match next week as we go off the air.
