WWE RAW Live Event Results From Dubln, Ireland (11/8) - Title Change Overturned, CM Punk Vs. Ryback
Thanks to WrestlingINC.com reader Niall for sending in these results from last night's WWE RAW live event in Dublin, Ireland:
The arena was near full. Vickie Guerrero comes out to massive heat and tells the crowd to vote whether or not AJ Lee should compete in a triple threat match for the Diva's title later tonight.
The first match was Brodus Clay vs. Primo (w/ Rosa Mendes). Slow paced match with Brodus getting the win via pinfall.
Zack Ryder vs. Epico (w/ Rosa Mendes again). Ryder gets the upper hand in the beginning but was then attacked from behind. Brodus Clay "ran" in to make the save. Ryder then got on the mic and asked for a tag match, which was then made. Back and forth action , Ryder got the win with the Rough Ryder.
Backstage promo from Dolph Ziggler hyping his match with John Cena later tonight.
Divas title match next, and it's revealed that AJ Lee has qualified for the match. AJ and Layla team up against Eve Torres to start. Eve hits a neckbreaker, but the pin is broken up by AJ after pulling the ref out. AJ then pinned Eve to become the new Divas champion. Vickie Guerreo interrupts her celebration, saying she can't put her hands on a ref. The match restarts and Eve wins via pinfall.
Backstage clip of Team Hell No arguing over the tag titles.
Dolph Ziggler comes out alongside Vickie Guerrero. John Cena then makes his entrance to a huge pop. "Let's go Cena," "Cena sucks" and "Let's got Ziggler" chants kicked off. Match of the night. This was an excellent match which saw Cena doing a Frankensteiner and then bowing. This match had everything including Ziggler kicking out of the AA and tuning up the band for a super kick. Vickie Guerrero was removed from ringside after distracting Cena. The end came when the ref was knocked out and Vickie returned to the ring with the MITB briefcase. She attempted to hit Cena, but AJ made the save. Vickie then tried to hide from AJ by — to be blunt — hiding her face in Cena's crotch. She then ran out the ring attempting to remove the taste from her mouth . Ziggler got to his feet only for AJ to strike him with the briefcase. Cena then hit the AA for the win.
Intermission.
After the break, Rhodes Scholars make their way to the ring for the next match. Daniel Bryan then comes out to a sea of "Yes!" chants. Kane gets a decent pop. During the match, Team Hell No attempt to hug it out but are interrupted by Rhodes Scholars, who mock them by hugging each other. Basic tag match, the end came when Kane choke-slammed Rhodes, then Bryan tagging himself in to try to pin Rhodes but Kane breaks it up. They begin to argue when Sandow attacks them from behind. Kane throws Sandow over the top rope, Bryan throws Kane out of the ring. Bryan then submits Rhodes with the No lock.
Bryan then celebrated with both tag titles. Kane then grabbed both and refused to give Byran his title. Bryan pretended to be a bull in an attempt to get his title back. Eventually the two hug it out and Kane returns his title. Byran then steals Kane's title and runs away celebrating. Very funny segment.
Michael McGillicutty vs. Tensai. Tensai dominated most of the match with McGillicutty kicking out of his finisher. McGillicutty then wins with a roll up.
WWE Champion CM Punk (w/Paul Heyman) vs. Ryback. Small "ECW" chants when Heyman made his way to the ring. Ryback enters and "Feed Me More" chants break out. Punk cuts a short promo about respect before being slammed by Ryback. Ryback dominates the start of the match, but Punk gains control after a distraction from Heyman. Decent match with Punk getting a lot of offense in. The end of this match saw Heyman shouting "get out now!" Primo, Epico, Tensai and Rhode Scholars ran to the ring and attacked Ryback, forcing the match to end in a DQ. Kane makes the save, and he and Ryback clear the ring. Ryback then gives a Shellshock to Punk. Ryback then marched around the ring holding an Irish flag.
