Mickie James Discusses Influences On Her Career, When She Realized She Made It, More
TNA Knockout Mickie James joined Washington Redskins defensive end Adam Carriker and former wrestling announcer Chuck Carroll on the "4th & Pain" podcast. The show airs weekdays at noon and regularly features former WWE and WCW Superstar Goldberg, who makes weekly NFL picks on Thursdays.
Mickie said she realized she had made it in professional wrestling when she captured the WWE Women's Championship from Trish Stratus at WrestleMania 22. Chuck said that her moment came seven years earlier when she hit him with the wrong side of a chair when the two attended pro wrestling training school together in the late 90's.
Mickie also discussed her transition from WWE into TNA and ultimately the music business. She credited Lita with helping her become a better wrestler and named Trish Stratus as one of her dear friends. Her album is also scheduled to be released early next year.
