Rollins Says The Shield Is Taking Over, Update On The JBL & Cole Show, WWE Touts Success Of New App

- WWE issued a press release on Tuesday to tout that their new app has secured more than 2.7 million downloads in 215 countries since it launched four months ago. On Monday when WWE announced the new version, they received more than 100,000 app updates and 20,000 new downloads in one night. The app has moved up more than 300 spots into the Top 50 Free Entertainment Apps on the iPhone, beating out HBO Go, NBC, Showtime Anytime, ABC Family and the Cartoon Network.

- WWE filmed the second episode of "The JBL & Cole Show" before Tuesday's SmackDown tapings. It will air this Friday on WWE's website. Michael Cole noted on Twitter that they have lots of surprises for this week.

- WWE NXT Champion Seth Rollins is headed back to WWE developmental this week for Thursday night's tapings at Full Sail University. The Shield member tweeted the following after last night's SmackDown tapings:

"Headed back to Tampa with the wrongs firmly on the right track. #WWETLC is just the beginning. We're takin' over this town. #CFH"
