CM Punk Surprises Shot Liquor Store Owner Who Was Upset With Rock's Win

As noted earlier this week, a 77-year-old liquor store owner was shot last week while his store was being robbed. The owner, Thomas Dotterer, recently returned to work and said that The Rock beating CM Punk at The Royal Rumble last Sunday was what really ruined his week.

Dotterer appeared on The Abe Kanan Show on SiriusXM Howard 101 and discussed his comments about Punk. Dotterer revealed that he's been a wrestling fan since the 1940s, and said that Punk was one of his favorites.

"He's outstanding in his art," Dotterer said of Punk.

The radio show surprised Dotterer by having Punk call in. Punk praised Dotterer for his "positive mental attitude" and said that he would get him special seats to the upcoming WWE live event in Syracuse on March 3. You can listen to the appearance above.
