- I recently interviewed WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2013 inductee Mick Foley. During the interview, Foley discussed the differences between wrestling today and the Attitude Era. I also asked Foley if The Rock and Steve Austin would have become big stars in today's era with scripted promos. Foley believed that they would, and cited fellow WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2013 inductee Bruno Sammartino as an example.

"Nothing's for sure," Foley admitted. "Bruno Sammartino's name is thrown around a lot, yeah. He knew how to connect, he knew how to get over with an audience. He would've been just fine."
