"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan Talks His Favorite WrestleMania Memory, Hulk Vs. Andre, WWE HOF

The Baltimore Sun has an interview with "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, who was promoting tonight's Big Time Wrestling event in Hagerstown, MD. You can get more information or purchase tickets here. Here are some highlights from the interview:

His favorite WrestleMania memory: "My first Wrestlemania was Wrestlemania III. That was the one with 93,000 folks. I didn't have a match, but I ran down with the 2x4 and hit Nikolai Volkoff and the Iron Sheik. I had 93,000 people chanting USA, and that was the thrill of a lifetime."

His favorite WrestleMania memory that didn't involve him: "At that same Wrestlemania, I was in the back watching when Andre did the job for the Hulkster. That was one of the largest moments in the history of the business, and one that I will never forget."

Being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011: "It's a great honor. You always want to be remembered. Being recognized by the WWE is the pinnacle of our profession. It's something that everybody aspires to. A lot of guys say that they don't care, but they're the ones not getting the call. It was a beautiful night. My family was there, and some of my good friends. It was just a really special night."

Duggan also discussed if he would retire if he had health problems like Jerry Lawler, wrestling in front of smaller crowds, occasionally wrestling on RAW and more. You can read the full interview by clicking here.
