Kurt Angle On If TNA Will Be Competitive With WWE In 5 Years, Joseph Park On If He's Abyss
- Chicago Now has an interview with Kurt Angle, who was promoting tomorrow's Impact Wrestling taping from Chicago. During the interview, Angle was asked about where he sees TNA in five years.
"It continues to grow no doubt worldwide," Angle said. "We are on the road for good and we are taking little steps to improve the overall product. I believe in 5 years if things are done right we could be competing with the monster (WWE). They have amazing programming and Vince McMahon has done wonders for his product. I have been in Impact Wrestling for 7 years and I thought by now we would be up in the ratings. I believe that's going to take a little more time."
Angle also discussed retirement, the milk truck incident, if MMA will ever become an Olympic sport and more. You can read the full interview by clicking here.
- Brandon Baxter spoke to Joseph Park about the upcoming Impact Wrestling taping in Jonesboro at the end of the month. During the interview, Park spoke on the eerie similarities between himself and Abyss.
"I'm gonna shoot straight with you guys, everybody things, 'well, you're Abyss, Joe Park and Abyss are the same person'," Park admitted. "That's just ludicrous, I'm just an attorney, what they need is a really good doctor if they think I'm the same person. I mean, we share the same mother, we share the same genes, the same family traits. But to think that he and I are the same person is just outlandish."
