WWE Live Event Results From Colorado Springs (3/8): Punk Wins Squash Match, The Shield, More
Thanks to one of our readers for sending in these results from Friday night's WWE live event in Colorado Springs, CO:
The show started with a tribute to Paul Bearer.
Vickie Guerrero came to the ring and said that Justin Roberts had a flat tire, so she was going to fill in as ring announcer. Major boos.
Brodus Clay (with Tensai) defeated Heath Slater (with Jinder Majal) with the big splash. After the match, Brodus brought kids in the ring to dance.
They showed a pre-taped video promo from the Shield.
Alex Riley defeated Titus O'Neil.
After the match, somebody I didn't recognize came to the ring talking smack to Riley. Then the Shield hit the ring and worked over Alex, then turned and beat down the mystery person.
Justin Roberts arrived and took over the ring announcing.
Bray Wyatt defeated JTG.
The Miz defeated Dolph Ziggler with the figure four leglock.
Divas champion Kaitlyn defeated Tamina with a spear.
CM Punk won a squash match against Zack Ryder with a GTS. During the match, Punk did a throat-slash gesture ala Undertaker. When going for the pin, he folded Zack's arms like Taker does. CM Punk then cut a promo, talking about how he was going to defeat the Undertaker at Wrestlemania.
Main Event: The Shield vs. John Cena and Ryback. The Shield got disqualified when Roman Reigns brought a chair to the ring. A brawl broke out, and Cena and Ryback hit their finishers in tandem.
Biggest pops: Cena, Ryback and Alex Riley
Most heat: Vickie and CM Punk
