WWE Live Event Results From Norfolk (3/23): Del Rio Defends, Mark Henry Vs. Kane, More

There was a great crowd, the arena was almost full.

* R-Truth and The Great Khali defeated Epico & Primo after Khali hit Primo with a chop

* Natalya defeated Aksana with the sharpshooter.

There was a backstage interview with Bo Dallas, who will face Wade Barrett for the WWE intercontinental Championship.

* Yoshi Tatsu vs. Michael McGillicutty was up next. Fandango interrupted during the match and did his dance routine on stage. He then entered the ring and attacked Yoshi. The match was ruled a no-contest.

There was a backstage interview with Mark Henry, who discussed his match with Kane later tonight.

* Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter cut a promo about saving America. Swagger vs. Justin Gabriel is up next. Good match, with Swagger winning via submission with the Patriot lock. After the match, Alberto Del Rio ran out and brawled with Swagger. Del Rio was going for the cross armbreaker, but Coulter was able to pull Swagger out of the ring.

* Kane defeated Mark Henry via disqualification. During the match, Henry appeared to have gotten injured and the referee made the "X" sign and Kane won the match via DQ. After the match, Henry his Kane with a chair, and Kane then chokeslammed Henry.

Intermission.

* WWE Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett defeated Bo Dallas via pinfall.

* The Usos defeated Team Rhodes Scholars with a roll up.

* World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio (w/ Ricardo Rodriguez) defeated The Big Show in a fans choice "No Disqualification" match. There was lots of action during the match. At one point, Big Show beat up Rodriguez and threw him in the steel steps. Ricardo was then helped to the back by officials. Alberto used a chair and a kendo stick on Show. Big Show countered and threw Del Rio against the steps. The finish saw Del Rio bulldog Big Show off the top rop through a table.

Overall great show.
