CM Punk On Using Paul Bearer's Death As Storyline, Vince McMahon - HOF Correction
- The Asbury Park Press has a short interview with CM Punk, who was promoting WrestleMania 29. During the interview, Punk discussed using Paul Bearer's death to build his match with The Undertaker this Sunday.
"My job is to get people to be mad at me and I think I do that very well; I think I blur the lines," Punk said. "Everything is designed to push people's buttons ? so it's unfortunate that Percy had to die for him to be a part of this story ? but trust me, he would have loved it, he really would have loved it."
Punk also likened his style to Roddy Piper and discussed what a victory over The Undertaker at WrestleMania means, you can read it here.
- Just a quick correction on our report yesterday about Vince McMahon inducting Donald Trump into the WWE Hall Of Fame. We originally reported that it was the second time that Vince had inducted someone into the Hall of Fame following his induction of Steve Austin in 2009. WrestlingINC.com reader @princesscian noted that it would actually be Vince's third induction, as he inducted James Dudley in 1994. Dudley was close to Vince Sr., and also worked as a manager. You can check out Dudley's profile on WWE.com at this link.
Speaking of the article, "The Donald" himself tweeted it out to his 2 million followers earlier today:
