"GI Joe" Slips From The Top Spot, WWE On Success Of "The Call," "Pain & Gain" Promo

- Above is the promo that aired during WrestleMania for The Rock's next movie, Pain & Gain.

- GI Joe: Retaliation slipped from the top spot at the U.S. box office over the weekend, dropping to #2. The movie took in $21.1 million, bringing it's domestic total to $86.7 million. It grossed an additional $40.2 million overseas, bringing its worldwide total to $231.9 million.

- WWE Studios The Call held up well at the box office at #9. The movie took in $3.5 million to bring its total take to $45.5 million.

"'The Call' has exceed our most optimistic forecasts," Luisi said. "It's a crowd pleaser and it tends to play consistently well with the core WWE fans but it's going beyond the core fans. That's great fo the WWE Studios brand."
