Hundreds Gather To Say Goodbye To Reid Flair, The Rock Doesn't Appear On Today

- The Rock was scheduled to promote WrestleMania 29 on The Today Show on Wednesday morning but didn't. No word yet on why he didn't appear.

- The Charlotte Observer reports that hundreds of family and friends gathered to say goodbye to Reid Flair on Wednesday. A 90-minute service was held at Forest Hill Church in Charlotte. Ric Flair, his daughter Ashley and Reid's girlfriend spoke, among others.

A 17-minute video slideshow of Reid was shown and Ric gave a more than 10-munute speech about his son. "I want to make sure he knows this turnout isn't because of me, it's because of who he was him and who he affected," said a subdued and visibly shaken Flair, according to The Charlotte Observer. The family met with friends after the funeral before leaving for a private burial.
