John Cena On His Dream Match, Retirement, Greatest WWE Moment, Favorite Rock Movie, More
Amy Kuperinsky interviewed John Cena, who was promoting his match with The Rock at WrestleMania this Sunday. Here are some highlights from the interview:
His dream match: "Dwayne Johnson, April 7. Honestly. There's so many names in the history of the WWE. He is the one to literally transcend them all. It doesn't get bigger than that. We've got the biggest, best stadium to do it in."
His favorite Rock movie: "(The) Rundown." Only because that was where he was at his best. ... He has truly metamorphosized into a bona fide superstar. It will be his pleasure to lose to me in WrestleMania."
What is the greatest WWE moment: "Everybody has that moment, no matter who you are. For me that moment was WrestleMania 3 when Hulk Hogan defeated Andre the Giant."
If he has thought about slowing down: "I'll be 36 April 23. I do actually, all the time. The more I get into the 30s, the more I convince myself I can't keep up with everyone here. I'm not there yet. I'm literally as strong as I've ever been."
Cena also discussed the influence that Paul Bearer has had on his career, which rapper he would most like to collaborate with, if it is really him on his Twitter account and more. You can read the full interview at this link.
