Latest Rock Injury Update, Rock Talks Bulking Up, How Much Did Rock Make For "Pain And Gain"?

- The Rock noted again on his Twitter that he has decided against surgery for the injuries he suffered in his match with John Cena at WrestleMania 29 last week. He wrote: "Injury update: Dr's & I elected not to reattach tendons to my pelvis. They'll just scar up. Now I prep to shoot HERCULES #TheDemiGOD"

- As noted earlier, it would be very difficult for The Rock to undergo surgery unless it was absolutely necessary. He has Pain & Gain releasing on April 26th, Fast 6 releasing next month, plus filming begins shortly for Hercules, which is a major project co-produced by Paramount and MGM and scheduled to release during the key summer movie season of 2014. It's also important for the Rock to promote Pain & Gain as much as he can, since he and Mark Wahlberg didn't take salaries for the movie and will instead receive a percentage of the film's profits.

- Access Hollywood has an interview with Wahlberg and The Rock about Pain & Gain. During the interview, both actors discussed their physiques for the movie. Wahlberg admitted to undergoing "huge preparation" to change his look, while Rock noted that he was already in physical shape for the role.

"I was really fortunate because I was coming off of 'G.I. Joe,' I was coming off of 'Fast & Furious' at that time too," Rock said. "So a lot of those projects supported and fostered the type of training I was doing."

- The Rock commented on the media he's doing for Pain & Gain on his Twitter, writing, "Been enjoyin' my time w/ the press talkin' PAIN & GAIN. Again, the easiest part of my job is being nice. Too much effort to be an A-hole!;)"
