UFC 159 Fighter Almost Signed With WWE, Where Will CM Punk Be This Weekend?, Punk & Lita Note

- The latest episode of Wrestling INC. Weekly is now online. In the episode, former WWE Executive and President of MLW (@MLW) Court Bauer (@CourtBauer) and myself (@RajGiri_303) discuss if The Rock should continue to wrestle, Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar 3, and we preview tomorrow's UFC 159 card. During the episode, Bauer revealed that UFC heavyweight Roy Nelson, who faces Cheick Kongo at UFC 159, approached Bauer in 2010 about possibly signing with WWE. Bauer reached out to WWE, however John Laurinaitis' failure to promptly answer prevented that from happening.

"It cost WWE a guy who was a top heavyweight from jumping over to WWE," Bauer noted. "He [Nelson] really wanted to do it... he was so psyched about the possibility of doing something crazy and Johnny just took too long in returning [an answer]."
