Brock Lesnar Goes To WWE HQ, Tebow - WWE, Vince McMahon Comments On New Partnership
- It appears as if WWE will be filming an angle with Brock Lesnar at the company's corporate office in Stamford, CT today. Paul Heyman wrote the following on his Twitter this morning: "My client @BrockLesnar is in a #BreakingNews sort of mood for @WWE #RAW. But we're not waiting til 2night!... about to give my client @BrockLesnar a guided tour ... of @WWE World HQ in Stamford, CT!"
WWE.com posted a photo of Lesnar and Heyman in the lobby of the building at this link.
- As noted earlier, music mogul and new Be a STAR ambassador Sean "Diddy" Combs is teaming with WWE to encourage kids to end bullying. An anti-bullying public service announcement will air during tonight's RAW and will run on WWE programming. WWE issued a press release with Combs and WWE CEO Vince McMahon commenting on the partnership.
"I'm thrilled to extend my partnership with WWE and align myself with their Be a STAR, anti-bullying initiative," Combs said. "Bullying is a very serious issue and needs to stop now."
"WWE is proud to continue its partnership with Sean 'Diddy' Combs and join together to put an end to bullying," said McMahon.
- Jim Ross recently joked in a blog about Tim Tebow possible joining WWE after being cut by the New York Jets. Yahoo! has a blog up at this link, with the writer calling Tebow the "John Cena of the NFL" and stating that he could transition into the world of professional wrestling. You can check out a pic of Cena with Tebow at a Jets game last October below:
