WWE SmackDown Results: Dean Ambrose Vs. Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan Goes Nuts On The Shield & More

- SmackDown kicks off with an excellent video package for the fallen at the hands of The Shield. Tonight, Kane faces Seth Rollins, Daniel Bryan squares off with Roman Reigns, and Dean Ambrose faces Randy Orton. Will the Hounds become the hunted?

- We go to the arena from Edmonton, Alberta as The Shield makes their way to the ring.

- The Shield hops the security wall as Cole and JBL welcome us to the show. Some guy is dressed like Mr. Fuji in the front row. Kane and Daniel Bryan make their entrance.

Kane vs. Seth Rollins

Kane takes control early and keeps Rollins grounded. Bryan looks on from ringside. Kane hits a back bodydrop for only a 1 count. Rollins manages a front dropkick to take Kane off his feet. Reigns watches from the floor. I believe Ambrose has gone back to wherever The Shield appears from. Rollins goes to work on Kane's leg. Rollins leaps off the top for a nice DDT. Kane kicks out at 2 as we go to a commercial.

We're back to action as Kane hits a powerslam on a charging Rollins to create some space. Kane hits a side slam for another near fall. Kane goes up top but Rollins meets him; Kane knocks him off and comes off with a clothesline. Reigns gets on the apron and the distraction leads to a kick to the head from Rollins. Seth goes up top but Bryan pushes him off from the floor. Kane hits the chokeslam for the win.

Winner by pin: Kane

Reigns complains to the ref about Bryan's interference as we see a replay. The ref keeps the two teams separated in the ring as we go right into our next match.

Daniel Bryan vs. Roman Reigns

Roman is all fired up and goes right at Bryan. Bryan turns it around with aggressive No Kicks in the corner. Bryan rains down with some ground-and-pound. Bryan continues with forearms to the face of Reigns. Daniel Bryan keeps the pressure on with MMA style strikes. Reigns takes control as we go to break.

Back to action as Reigns and Bryan go back and forth. Reigns resumes control with vicious takedowns. Bryan seems to snap and charges in for a dropkick in the corner followed by No Kicks. Bryan hits another running dropkick for 2. Reigns hits a headbutt from his knees to stop the No Kicks. Bryan applies the No Lock as Reigns reaches for the ropes. Rollins pushes the ropes closer and Roman reaches it. Kane goes around to strike Rollins. Roman pie-faces Kane from inside the ring. Kane strikes Reigns from the floor and the ref sees it.

Winner by disqualification: Roman Reigns

Daniel Bryan and Kane argue in the ring. They continue to literally point fingers up the ramp. Bryan screams the he doesn't need the help and that he is the weak link. Kane is heard saying Bryan is obsessed.

- Back from a break to a clip of Damien Sandow's mental challenge from last week.

- Sandow is in the ring with a suit on. He has a mic on his tie and isn't holding one. He berates the crowd for trading Wayne Gretzky and says that he is the great one. Sandow has 3 cups on a table and he begins to explain the rules. Sandow places a red ball under a cup and is interrupted by Sheamus.

Sheamus cuts a promo on his way to the ring and talks about Sandow's small balls. Sheamus wants a shot at the game. Sandow rearranges the cups and tells Sheamus to choose and choose wisely. Sheamus picks one and it is wrong. Sandow chuckles and says he is not surprised. He says Sheamus' idiot license is good for another year. Sandow gives Sheamus another chance and says it is 50/50. Sheamus picks the wrong one again. Sheamus makes Sandow show the red ball under the remaining cup. Sandow hesitates as the crowd chants, "Show your balls."

Sheamus takes the cup and reveals that there is no ball there. Sandow claims to also be a magician. He asks, "Is there no end to my talent?" Sheamus chucks the cup into Sandow's face and says a rhyme punctuated by a Brogue Kick. "You're welcome," Sheamus says.

- Curtis Axel and Paul Heyman walk toward the arena.

- Sin Cara makes his entrance after a commercial followed by Curtis Axel. Heyman cuts a promo on their way down the ramp. He says whenever he speaks about his clients, he speaks the truth. He puts over what Axel has done in just 2 weeks. Heyman hands the mic to Axel who talks about defeating Cena and Triple H. He says when you're a Paul Heyman guy, "Life is Perfect."

Curtis Axel vs. Sin Cara

Curtis takes control of Cara and takes him to the mat. Cara comes back with a head scissors takedown and an armdrag. Cara hits a crossbody off the top but Axel shuts him down with a forearm from behind. Axel hits the PerfectPlex (it's about time) for the win.

Winner by pin: Curtis Axel

- Ricardo Rodriguez introduces Alberto Del Rio. Big E Langston enters with AJ Lee. AJ looks disappointed as they make their way down the ramp. She leads him out then stops and lets him walk by as she gives him one of those "AJ" looks.

Alberto Del Rio vs. Big E Langston

Big E takes control on the mat. Del Rio comes off the top with a dropkick and takes Langston off his feet with the third clothesline. Big E counters a Backstabber and hits a bell-to-belly for 2. Big E pulls the straps down but Del Rio comes back with a Backstabber. Del Rio misses with the Enzuigiri in the corner but hits a German suplex and a sidekick to Big E's face for 2.

Del Rio applies the cross armbreaker but Langston powers out. Big E takes Del Rio's head off with a tackle for 2. Del Rio puts on the armbreaker on the ropes as the ref counts to 5. AJ attacks Del Rio on the floor and Big E sends him into the steel. Big E rolls him back in and hits the Big Ending for the win.

Winner by pin: Big E Langston

AJ cheers up and she celebrates with Langston in the ring. She sees the replay and is tickled and facially takes credit for the win.

- The RAW Rebound is shown of the Cena/Ryback saga.

- Ryback steps out of the back of an ambulance and enters the ring. He checks under the ring, seeing some tables, he enters the ring. Kofi Kingston enters the ring.

Ryback vs. Kofi Kingston

Kofi goes right at Ryback with a front dropkick and is relentless with the strikes. Kofi hits a missile dropkick to the face for 2. Kofi is all fired up as he drops the Boom Drop. Ryback catches Kofi in mid-air but Kofi breaks free and hits a crossbody off the top for 2. Ryback grounds Kofi and gets his bearings. Ryback hits the Meat Hook and drops Kofi with Shell Shocked for the win.

Winner by pin: Ryback

Ryback goes and retrieves a table and sets it up in the ring, with Kofi laid out on the mat. Ryback powerbombs Kofi through the table and gets another one. Ryback sets it up and powerbombs Kofi through it also. Ryback gets a third table as the crowd cheers him on. Ryback puts Kofi through the third table and leaves. Kofi is checked on by paramedics.

- A clip is shown of Chris Jericho's Highlight Reel with Paul Heyman.

- Renee is standing by with Chris Jericho in the back. Jericho cuts a canine related promo on CM Punk about catching fleas and diseases from Paul Heyman.

- Jericho makes his entrance to the ring as we take a break.

Chris Jericho vs. Cody Rhodes

Jericho hits an early dropkick and clothesline Cody to the floor. Y2J sends Cody back in but Rhodes gets the advantage. Cody unloads with stomps on the mat. Jericho comes back with chops to the chest. More back and forth. Y2J hits a double axe off the top and goes for the Walls. Cody counters out. Rhodes hits the Alabama Slam for 2. More counters of finishers. Jericho locks in the Walls of Jericho.

Winner by submission: Chris Jericho

- The Wyatt Family vignette is shown. I marked out again.

- Randy Orton makes his entrance in the arena for our main event. Dean Ambrose is in the ring following a break.

Randy Orton vs. Dean Ambrose

They lock up with 14 minutes left in the show. Ambrose takes control with stomps in the corner and works Orton over. Randy comes back with a suplex and mounted punches in the corner. Orton hits a European Uppercut for 2. Ambrose takes back over in the corner. Randy hits a Thesz Press but Dean escapes to the floor. Orton follows out with a clothesline. Orton throws Dean around at ringside but Ambrose kicks the knee and sends Orton into the steel steps. Ambrose hits a clothesline on the floor as we go to commercial.

Ambrose is in control in the ring with a side headlock as we return to action with 7 minutes left in the show. Ambrose goes to a sleeper and Orton fades to one knee. Orton fights out with a side suplex. They trade headbutts and strikes in the center of the ring. Orton goes into his match ending flurry. Ambrose counters out of the DDT in the ropes. Ambrose comes off the top but Orton catches him with a dropkick for 2. Orton hits his ropes-DDT and coils up as the crowd comes alive. Dean escapes to the floor. Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins appear and attack Orton as the bell rings.

The Shield stomp Orton as Team Hell No comes to the rescue. Bryan unloads on Rollins and Ambrose in the ring as he flies around the ring. Bryan hits a flying knee off the apron to Reigns on the floor. Bryan hits a missile dropkick to Ambrose in the ring and then launches himself through the rope onto Ambrose and Rollins. Bryan leads the crowd in a frenzied "YES" chant. Orton and Kane raise Bryan's arms in the ring. SmackDown goes off the air with the capacity crowd chanting "YES" and with a gleam in Daniel Bryan's eye.
