Former TNA Talent On Departure, Slammiversary Footage, Chavo On Preferring TNA To WWE
- You can check out a preview for this Thursday's Impact Wrestling, which contains footage from this past Sunday's Slammiversary pay-per-view, in the video above.
- As noted earlier, TNA announcer Todd Keneley has been dropped by the promotion. Keneley, who had joined the announce team last October, was informed at this past Sunday's Slammiversary pay-per-view that the event would be his last broadcast. He commented on his departure, writing on his Twitter, "Thank you so much for all of the support and compliments on my work. Can't tell you how much I appreciate it. Really making my day!"
- The Sun has an interview with Chavo Guerrero at this link. During the interview, Chavo discussed preferring TNA to WWE.
"I'm really enjoying it in TNA. It is so different than the other company I was with," Chavo admitted. "I mean you are not just a number here, you get praise for what you do and don't have to fight so hard to get a spot or chance to prove yourself.
"The big thing here is that it is like a family. One big TNA family I guess you could say. It may not be a Hollywood and have the spectacle others have. But what we lack in money, we make for in talent and quality. In my opinion this is the best roster in the world right now. We have so much talent that we can put on good quality shows wherever we go."
Chavo also discussed his last few months in WWE being like a "bad break-up," fans chanting the late Eddie Guerrero's name during his matches, teaming with Hernandez and more. You can read the full interview here.
