Video Of Fan Attacking Randy Orton At WWE Live Event In South Africa, Orton Retaliates, More

As noted earlier, Randy Orton was attacked by a fan at today's WWE live event in Cape Town, South Africa. Following his match with Big E. Langston, a fan entered the ring and hit Orton with a low blow. Orton's music stopped playing, and security dragged the fan out of the ring.

WrestlingINC.com reader Garvin, who was at the show, noted that Orton actually kicked the fan in the head while he was being pulled out of the ring. An irate Orton then kicked the Money In The Bank briefcase to the ramp before he stood on the ropes and gave the finger.

A meet-and-greet that was scheduled after the event was apparently cancelled due to the incident, which you can watch in the video above.

Update 9:21 PM ET: WWE sent us the following statement regarding the incident:

"Tonight Randy Orton was violently attacked from behind by a South African fan, who is currently being held in jail pending criminal charges. The extent of Orton's injuries are unknown at this time."
