Sheamus Goes In For Surgery, New WWE Studios Project, SummerSlam 2008 In 60 Seconds

- Deadline.com reports that WWE Studios and Anchor Bay films have acquired the rights to Jason Momoa's directorial debut film, Road To Paloma. Momoa also stars in the film as a Native American who is on the run from the FBI after avenging the death of his mother, who was raped and killed by thugs on their reservation. Lisa Bonet, Sarah Shahi, Michael Raymond-James and Wes Studi also star in the film.

"Jason is a genuine triple threat with his writing, directing and, of course, acting talent," said WWE Studios President Michael Luisi. "He has delivered a gritty, provocative and powerful film. We couldn't be more excited to introduce it to audiences through our continued collaboration with our partners at Anchor Bay."

- Sheamus underwent surgery today after suffering a torn labrum in his left shoulder at last month's Money In The Bank pay-per-view. The Celtic Warrior tweeted this photo from the hospital:
