Which WWE Star Topped The Latest PWI 500 List?, Wade Barrett Talks Not Being On Top In WWE

- Above is Sam Roberts' latest interview, who chatted with Wade Barrett as part of SummerSlam week. During the interview, Barrett talked about main eventing 5 pay-per-views shortly after his WWE debut and admitted to being disappointed with how the Nexus angle fizzled out. He also discussed his current spot in the company.

"I'm a very driven person, I made a lot of sacrifices to get here, I'm never going to be happy just kind of sitting in the middle," Barrett said. "I always want to be at the top, that's my aim, I want to be the World champion. Sometimes you have to bide your time a little, sometimes you have to wait for opportunities. But from my perspective, I do everything I can every day to get myself up there and to get myself higher on the card. That's really my goal is to be the World Heavyweight Champion."

- Eleven-time former WWE champion John Cena topped the 23rd annual "PWI 500," which is now available for digital download at pwi-online.com. The magazine cites Cena's victory over The Rock at WrestleMania 29, his Royal Rumble victory, his Money in the Bank triumph, and two pins of CM Punk on Monday Night Raw as his standout accomplishments during the evaluation period of July 1, 2012, through June 30, 2013. Cena is the first wrestler to earn the honor three times, surpassing Bret Hart, Steve Austin, and Triple H, who have won it twice each.
