- Dixie Carter commented on Jim Ross' WWE retirement on her Twitter, writing, "What a class act! @JRsBBQ. Wrestling will miss you!"
- It was 14 years ago this past Tuesday that Eric Bischoff was removed from his management position in WCW by TBS Sports chief Harvey Schiller. Bischoff was replaced by WCW accountant Bill Busch, who was named Senior Vice President, and the title of "WCW President" was eliminated. Bischoff commented on the anniversary of his demotion this past Tuesday, writing on his Twitter, "14 yrs ago today I was 'pay or played' from my Turner contract. They brought me back 4 months later when the Kool Aide went sour. Been a great ride ever since. Grateful for all the great opportunities that have manifested since that day, and a great biz partner in @JasonHervey and building an incredible biz. Some s–t is meant to be."
