We noted earlier that the Dolph Ziggler – Dean Ambrose U.S. title match that was scheduled for this Sunday at Night of Champions is no longer listed on WWE.com. The website also ran an article today with predictions from the staff for each match, and there was no mention of the bout.

In an update, the match will be officially announced on tonight's episode of WWE SmackDown. Ziggler will face Ambrose on tonight's show, with Vickie Guerrero stating that Ziggler will get a US title match at Night of Champions if he beats Ambrose. Ziggler went on to defeat Ambrose via DQ after The Shield interfered, prompting Vickie to make the title match for this Sunday.
