Book Author Says It's Tough To See Hulk Hogan Still Going (Video), WWE In NC, Mick Foley
- David Shoemaker appeared on Don Imus' show on Fox Business News this morning to promote his new book, The Squared Circle: Life, Death, and Professional Wrestling. Imus was terrible in the interview, clearly not knowing the subject matter and treating wrestling like it's for idiots. During the interview, Imus brought up Hulk Hogan and asked Shoemaker if he "liked him."
"I love Hulk Hogan," Shoemaker admitted. "Part of being a wrestler is being famous, and he was the best at being famous. It's kinda tough to see him now that he's still going. But that's part of the book too, these guys were real life superheroes, and then once you get older, the mortality of these guys becomes a real issue."
Imus finished the interview by saying that he'll give the book to his driver, who's a huge wrestling fan.
