Dixie Carter Comments On AJ Styles Title Defense, TNA In NY Pre-Sale, Kurt Angle Medical Update
- In the video above, TNA President Dixie Carter responded to AJ Styles defending the TNA World title against Judas Mesias at a AAA event in Jalisco, Mexico this past Sunday night. Carter noted that Styles was not the company's World Heavyweight Champion, so he was "not defending any TNA title."
"If he wants to take that belt that he stole from my company and take it south of the border and pretend like he's still somebody, then more power to him," said Carter. "But the truth is, he's not. What everyone is talking about right now is my World heavyweight title tournament."
- As noted earlier, TNA will present a live event at NYCB Theatre at Westbury in Long Island, NY on December 28th. The pre-sale started this morning, you can purchase tickets here using code TNALONGISLAND.
- TNA posted a storyline medical update on Kurt Angle from trainer Scott Wheeler. Wheeler noted that Angle showed no signs of concussion after undergoing testing, and that the results were good. He said that the only thing hindering Angle was his knee injury from Bound For Glory. Wheeler added that TNA's medical team will communicate further with Angle's physicians to see if he can compete on Impact this Thursday night.
