Perry Saturn Pulls Out Of Scheduled Appearance, Ex-WCW Star Joins Twitter, Jushin Thunder Liger
- Former WWE, WCW and ECW star Perry Saturn is taking a page out of the Sid Vicious playbook by pulling a no-show. The 47-year-old had agreed to appear at an independent wrestling event taking place tonight in St. Paul, Minnesota, but later decided against appearing. His questionable decision has left the promoter very upset.
David Sabick of Heavy on Wrestling wrote on Facebook on Friday, "Perry Saturn has made the decision not to appear on the show tomorrow night in South St Paul. We have replaced him with Mr. Anderson. Sometimes the people you work with in this business make poor choices and it can disappoint fans. As an employee in the promotion business I am always uneasy when things like this happen. However, Mr. Anderson is a main event level talent and will give the fans one hell of a show tomorrow night."
Former WWE stars Armando Estrada, Ken Patera and Rikishi are scheduled to appear at the show, details of which are available here.
- Former WCW Cruiserweight Champion Evan Karagias is now on Twitter at twitter.com/EKKaragias. Having just turned 40-years-old on Wednesday, he now works as a tax accountant and actor in North Carolina.
- Japanese wrestling legend and former WCW Light Heavyweight Champion Jushin "Thunder" Liger turns 49-years-old on Saturday.
