Yet Another Project For The Rock, Ric Flair To The UK, Iron Sheik Challenges Crack Smoking Mayor

- According to The Hollywood Reporter, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has signed on for yet another major project. Johnson, who is currently filming Fast & Furious 7, will star in an action movie called Seal Team 666. Johnson will also executive produce the flick, alongside ex-wife Dany Garcia, Brendan Deneen and Peter Joseph. The movie will be based on Weston Ochse's book, which follows a group of Navy Seals who battle supernatural beings and discover a force that is trying to destroy the world.

For those keeping track, here is a list of projects that The Rock is currently attached to: Hercules (set to release on July 25, 2014), Fast & Furious 7, WWE Studios The Fall Guy, 3D disaster film San Andreas, the new reality series Wake Up Call on TNT, and the new HBO series Ballers.

- WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair will be heading to the U.K. in March of 2013. He will appear at a pair of Revolution Pro Wrestling events on March 14, 2014 and March 15, 2014, respectively. You can get more information at https://revolutionprowrestling.com/

- Former WWF Champion The Iron Sheik got some pub today for challenging Toronto mayor Rob Ford to a fight. Ford was caught on video smoking crack cocaine, which Ford stated was likely while he was in a "drunken stupor." It wouldn't be the first time that Ford squared off against a WWE Hall of Famer, as Ford defeated Hulk Hogan in a friendly worked arm wrestling match this past summer. You can check out The Sheik's challenge below. Just a warning though, as you'd probably expect, there's a lot of strong language.
