Another Detailed Set Of Results From Last Night's WWE Live Event In Newark: Cena & Mysterio

Thanks to WrestlingINC.com reader Will Rodriguez for sending in these results from last night's WWE live event in Newark, NJ:

Many people at the Prudential Center, myself included, were disappointed with the lineup here compared to the Michigan show lineup and displayed their frustrations after the main event. Still, I must say that live, non-televised events turn out so much better than the taped events due to the wrestlers interacting much more with the fans and getting the fans more involved. It was evident that they weren't held back by the restraints of a show being filmed. Overall I had a great time even if I didn't get to see CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, The Shield, The Wyatts nor AJ Lee in action.

3MB vs The Real Americans vs Los Matadores in a Triple-Threat Tag team elimination match with the winning team getting a shot at the Rhodes Brothers for the tag team titles later on in the show:

3MB came out to big boos but The Real Americans and Los Matadores came out to nice pops from the crowd. This was a fun match all around with Los Matadores eliminating 3MB and being eliminated by a Jack Swagger ankle lock. Many " We, The People" chants shared with The Real Americans throughout the match.

Sin Cara vs El Local:

The crowd didn't really know what to make of El Local. Sin Cara came out to a nice pop from the crowd. This was a decent match with a few cool moves and Sin Cara getting the win.

Brie Bella vs Alicia Fox in a Christmas LumberJill match:

Kaitlyn, Rosa, Aksana, The Funkadactyls (dressed in their Christmas attire) and Nikki surround the ring. Alicia comes out to not much of a reaction from the crowd while Brie comes out to a surprising huge pop from the crowd. This is actually a very fun and entertaining match with the divas on the outside getting very much involved throughout the match. The crowd was very much into this match the entire way. Brie put on a wrestling clinic handling Alicia all over the ring. Alicia hit some impressive maneuvers but Brie had the crowd very much behind her and hit her finisher for the win.

Curtis Axel vs The Great Khali:

Axel comes out to big boos from the crowd and continually argued with fans for continuous boos. He drew lots of heat the entire match. The Great Khali received a nice pop and had the crowd behind him the entire way. This was a surprisingly entertaining match. They both drew continuous reactions from the crowd, Axel by continuously running away from Khali. Once Khali finally got his hands on Axel, he dominated the match and eventually got the win with his chop to the head.

The Real Americans vs The Rhodes Brothers for the WWE Tag Team Championship:

Zeb Colter opens up with his usual talk of illegal immigrants and talks about hearing Spanish speaking people as soon as he arrived at the Newark airport. The crowd ate it up, especially the many Latinos in the crowd. This was an awesome match just like the ones we've come to know and love from these two teams. The crowd was into this one from beginning to end. Lots of back-and-forth action and quick tags from The Real Americans as they cornered Golddust for quite some time. Cody finally tags in and and hits a moonsault on Cesaro almost pinning him and later hits Cross Rhodes on Swagger for the win.

Zack Ryder vs Brodus Clay:

This was pretty much a throwaway match. Ryder came into a decent ovation while Clay came out to some boos from the crowd. Clay dominated the match until Ryder snuck in a quick rollup for the win.

Kane vs. The Big Show in a steel cage match with Booker T as special guest referee:

Booker T is announced as the special guest referee and his music played for one year but he didn't come out so they switched to Kane's music and had him walk out instead. As Kane is halfway to the ring Booker T pops out and walks to the ring. Both Kane and Big Show came out to huge pops from the crowd, Kane receiving some "You Sold Out" chants at the start of the match. This match was very slow paced as you can imagine with these two guys. At one point it must've gotten so slow that the bell guy fell asleep or was desperately trying to end the match and rang the bell after the Big Show got an obvious two count on Kane. Booker T holds up two fingers at the bell guy with a face full of disbelief. The crowd chants "Two" and then lets the bell guy know he screwed up. Big Show then hits the knockout punch for the three count. Afterwards, an infuriated Big Show goes up to the bell guy and tells him off. No way was any of that supposed to happen. The crowd then asks Booker for a spinarooni. He asks the crowd if they really want to see one. The crowd chants YES. He hits one spinarooni and walks off.

Main Event: Randy Orton and Alberto Del Rio vs John Cena and Rey Mysterio:

Del Rio drew lots of heat from the crowd but Orton received a huge pop with some mixed in boos. Mysterio also received a huge pop. Cena received such a huge ovation from the crowd that I thought I felt the place move. I mean I couldn't hear what my nephew who was sitting next to me was trying to say to me. This was definitely the match of the night. The pace of the match and the intensity of the crowd made this such a great match. Cena was cornered for quite a while before Mysterio was able to tag in and take over the match for a short time. Mysterio was then cornered for quite a long time before he was finally able to tag Cena back in and the place errupted. Cena hits Del Rio with the 5 Knuckle Shuffle, goes for the AA but Del Rio reverses it into his armlock. Cena is able to pick Del Rio up from this position and slam him but is immediately hit with an RKO. Rey jumps in and kicks Orton to the outside, hits Del Rio with the 619, Del Rio staggers right into Cena who hits him with the AA for the win. Again the place goes nuts. Cena and Mysterio hang around for a while signing autographs and giving high fives to kids around the ring.

Overall I was impressed with the show they were able to put on with the lack of talent available. Great crowd helped. Once Cena and Mysterio we're gone the crowd was chanting for CM Punk and Daniel Bryan. There were also some chants for The Shield.
