Backstage News On Jeff Jarrett's TNA Departure, More On British Bulldog's Daughter, Hemme
- The news of Jeff Jarrett's departure from TNA came as a surprise to most people in the company, reports ProWrestling.net. As we have noted, Jarrett recently took on more of a role with creative and had been doing some agent work. Nobody is talking about any kind of issues involving Jarrett at the last set of TV tapings and it appears it's just "business as usual."
TNA sources who are normally in the know say that they were caught off guard by Jarrett's announcement and aren't entirely ruling out the possibility that this is part of a storyline. At the same time, there isn't anyone talking with direct knowledge of that being the case. There is plenty of speculation around Jarrett's announcement but nobody seems to know exactly what motivated it.
- As noted, TNA held a Fan Party in the UK on Sunday night. Around 500 fans showed up to the event that was free to ticket holders of the upcoming Maximum Impact tour. We noted before that Georgia Smith, daughter of WWE Legend British Bulldog, was in attendance and word is that she was actually introduced by Jeremy Borash before helping to give away some autographed artwork from Jeff Hardy.
- Christy Hemme's new EP "Generation KO" is now available to download at ShopTNA.com.
