Dana White Addresses Rumors About Brock Lesnar Heading Back To The UFC (Updated)
There have been rumors flying on social media this week that Brock Lesnar is heading back to the UFC. According to a report on FOX Sports, rumors stating that Lesnar would be attending UFC 168 this Saturday and meet with UFC President Dana White about a potential return started earlier this week on an MMA forum.
When White was asked after today's UFC 168 pre-fight press conference if Lesnar would be meeting with him at UFC 168 this Saturday, he simply replied, "I don't know. I honestly don't know... honestly, I don't know."
If the rumors are true, it wouldn't be the first time that White has been coy about meeting with Lesnar. Lesnar appeared at UFC 146 in May of 2012 and met with White, just months after he returned to WWE. At the time, White said that the meeting went terribly, only to reveal earlier this year that it actually went well and Lesnar almost returned to the UFC for a superfight against Fedor Emelianenko that would have taken place at Cowboys Stadium in Texas.
"Remember when I met with Lesnar and said it didn't go well?," White said last January. "It actually went well. It went well, and Brock wanted to fight Fedor. Then (Fedor's) dad died, and he was done... After his dad died and he said he was done or whatever, Brock said, 'I'm done, too.'"
