RVD Vague On WWE Return, Champions On Royal Rumble Advertising, Main Event Viewership, More
- Rob Van Dam remains cryptic about when he will return to WWE. When asked on Twitter today about a WWE return, RVD replied, "Soon enough but not too soon."
- This past Wednesday's episode of WWE Main Event on ION averaged 1.209 million viewers. It drew 0.414 million adults in the 18-49 demo.
- Through the end of the day, you can save up to 40% on WWE Superstar toys at WWEShop.com by clicking here.
- For what it's worth, local advertising in Pittsburgh features John Cena and Randy Orton as champions for The Royal Rumble. Those ads were most likely produced before the Survivor Series. As noted, the Cena – Orton title unification match at TLC was decided shortly before the Survivor Series last month. The description for The Royal Rumble on InDemand, which was also released before the Survivor Series, alluded to two champions after the event as well. It reads:
"Don't miss John Cena, CM Punk, The Shield, and all your favorite WWE Superstars as they compete for the right to face the WWE or World Heavyweight Champion in the ultimate battle at WWE Royal Rumble, Sunday, January 26, at 8PMET/5PMPT."
