The Rock Again Comments On Paul Walker's Tragic Death, Fast 7 Update

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson took to his Twitter again to comment on his Fast & Furious co-star Paul Walker, who was killed in a tragic car accident this past Saturday. He wrote:

"Losing a loved one jolts our hearts to the core... It also has a way of helping us move forward to live & love as greatly as possible. #PW"

Johnson and Walker both star in the seventh installment of the Fast & Furious franchise, which was slated to release on July 11, 2014. Filming for the movie has not been completed, and Walker was scheduled to shoot some scenes this week.

Production of the movie has been indefinitely suspended, although the film won't be scrapped. According to TheWrap, the producers of the film are considering starting the project over from scratch. Cost wouldn't be a factor because Walker's death would be covered by the studio's insurance policy.

Universal released this statement today regarding shutting down production:

"Right now, all of us at Universal are dedicated to providing support to Paul's immediate family and our extended Fast & Furious family of cast, crew and filmmakers. At this time we feel it is our responsibility to shut down production on Fast & Furious 7 for a period of time so we can assess all options available to move forward with the franchise. We are committed to keeping Fast & Furious fans informed, and we will provide further information to them when we have it. Until then, we know they join us in mourning the passing of our dear friend Paul Walker."
