Brock Lesnar In "Talks" To Return To The UFC
Los Angeles Times writer Lance Pugmire has confirmed that the UFC remains in contract talks with Brock Lesnar.
Lesnar, a former UFC heavyweight champion, recently returned to WWE television, delivering his signature finisher to Mark Henry – which you can view in the video above.
However, as the build up to the UFC's year-end event, UFC 168, began, reports of a Lesnar return picked up steam. The former NCAA national champion last fought in 2011 when he lost to Alistair Overeem.
Lesnar went 5-3 in eight pro MMA bouts, including a 4-3 mark with the UFC. He is also a former three-time WWE champion and a past winner of both the Royal Rumble and King of the Ring.
Some have speculated that Lesnar and his management team continue to use both the UFC and WWE against one another to drive up his contract demands.
@danawhite told me last week he was "talking" to @DCBROCKLESNAR but wouldn't announce anything until a signing.
