Impact Wrestling Review: The 'Genesis' Of A New TNA, Part I
This episode was the live version of the Genesis PPV-turned-television special, from Huntsville, Alabama. TNA has some history there, as Mike Tenay noted that the first TNA show happen there. Genesis showed how Dixie Carter continued to create a new TNA, weeding out the ones who are not on her side. The main targets were Kurt Angle and Sting.
Samoa Joe/Gunner/James Storm/Eric Young/Joseph Park/ODB vs. Bad Influence/Bro Mans/DJ Zema/Lei'D Tapa
This was a good way to start the show and utilize a number of angles wrapped up into one match. The babyfaces winning gave a good lift to the show, and Samoa Joe leading the pack should put him in line for a TNA World Heavyweight Title shot down the road. Joe and Magnus has some history together, so it wouldn't take much to develop a good storyline for these two. By the way, stay away from Robbie E.

Bully Ray vs. Mr. Anderson
Hopefully this ends the feud between the two. After Aces and Eights, it has just been used as a filler feud, but has not been interesting despite Bully Ray showing a darker side. However, I don't think that we will see the end of this angle, as it will probably go until Lockdown.
Hope you all enjoyed me DESTROYING @mrkenanderson as much as I did. I wondah if piledrivin his wife would be as much fun. We shall see!!

Gail Kim vs. Madison Rayne
This has been a good feud, and it is great to see Madison Rayne back. However, the match did not live up to the hype. There were many miscues, and it just didn't look like a championship match. I am sure we will continue to see more from this feud, and a gimmick match will be good in the near future to redeem the bout on Genesis.

Sting vs. EC3
This match was decent, until the chaotic finish happened. Granted, it wasn't as chaotic as AJ Styles vs. Magnus, but it looks that we will see this more and more, which is not very creative. Seemingly, that was done to save some dignity for Sting but still give EC3 a win, but it could have been Magnus simply interfering instead of switching referees. It looks like we have seem the end of Sting in TNA soon.
Every champion in the business is in the owner's camp. The only difference is some of us are just up front and honest about it.
