Ronda Rousey Wants To Have Fedor's Babies, Brittney Palmer "Slow & Hot," UFC FOX Fight Nixed
- UFC Octagon girl Brittany Palmer has been tabbed the new host of "Slow & Hot," and you can see the first episode of the online series in the video above.
Palmer heads to Venice Beach to film some crazy skating tricks using the FOX Sports Phantom Cam, which provides up-close action that is slowed down to incredible speeds.
- UFC female bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey was in Los Angeles earlier this week to promote her upcoming February fight with Sara McMann at UFC 170.
Rousey continued to express her "passion" and interest in retired heavyweight fighter Fedor Emelianenko, including a desire to make babies with the Russian.
"Do I want to have 57 of his babies? It's true," Rousey said (thanks to MMAjunkie.com for the quotes). "I think he's married, though, so I'm not allowed."
Rousey (8-0) and McMann (8-0) are both former U.S. Olympic medalists, with Rousey scoring bronze in judo and McMann silver in wrestling.
UFC 170 takes place February 22 from Las Vegas. Rashad Evans and Daniel Cormier meet in the co-main event.
- A planned heavyweight contest at UFC on FOX 10 later this month has been scratched, as Oleksiy Oliynyk has suffered suffered an injury.
Oliynyk was expected to face Jared Rosholt on January 25 from Chicago's United Center. Due to the time frame before the card, UFC officials have been unable to secure a replacement.
Rosholt (9-1) earned a win in his Octagon debut late in 2013, while Oliynyk was set to make his first appearance with the promotion.
