- UFC president Dana White recently appeared on Fox Sports Live to discuss a variety of topics, including the on-set brawl between TUF coaches Chael Sonnen and Wanderlei Silva. White gave credence to the rumor that Silva and Sonnen got into a fight during taping of The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil 3.

"Obviously, it's a reality show so I can't talk a lot about it," said White. "But, I can tell you this: all hell broke loose down there. Worse than anything that has ever happened on any season of The Ultimate Fighter."

When asked who started the fight, White would only say that he places blame on the showrunners, who shouldn't have left the two bitter rivals alone together.

"The history with these guys is they hate each other, they don't like each other," he explained. "Anytime there even in the room – it's actually amazing that it took this long. I truly believe our producers down there got a little careless and left them in the room alone together and this thing broke out."

Sonnen and Silva are slated to fight for real in July following the airing of TUF Brazil 3.

- Also during his Fox Sports Live appearance, White was asked what to do with Jose Aldo should he defeat Ricardo Lamas tonight at UFC 169. A win would make five consecutive (seven including his WEC title defenses) UFC featherweight title defenses for the 27-year-old, not to mention the fact that he's riding a sixteen-fight winning streak. It's hard to say what a step up in competition would mean for the dominant Brazilian, but White believes it lies one division north.

White revealed that he's still interested in pitting Aldo against UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis, provided he gets past Lamas.

"It's tough for him to make (featherweight). It wouldn't be a bad idea that when Pettis comes back, for him and Pettis to fight," he said. "We were gonna do that fight once at Aldo's weight. It might not be a bad idea – should he win this weekend – to possibly move up."

Although, White was quick to point out that the match is far from a done deal, even if Aldo wins tonight.

"It's no guarantee," he warned. "This is me talking, this isn't Aldo talking. Aldo knows what he wants to do. We'll see how this fight goes and then we'll figure it out after."

Pettis is currently recovering from an injured knee that forced him out of his first planned title defense (he was sidelined from his planned meeting with Aldo with a knee injury as well). He's stated a planned return for early summer, though some doctors have labeled that an enthusiastic and possibly unrealistic timeline for recovery.
