2K today announced Levi McIntire of West Portsmouth, Ohio as the winner of the WWE® 2K14 WrestleMania 30 contest. The winning screenshot entry, chosen by the WWE Games community and featuring a fantasy WrestleMania 30 matchup between WWE Superstars Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan, provided McIntire with an all-expense-paid trip for two to the pop culture extravaganza of the year, WrestleMania 30, scheduled for Sunday, April 6, 2014 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans. WWE 2K14 marks the first time in franchise history that consumers were presented with an opportunity to create a desired WrestleMania matchup, capture a screenshot of the in-game action and submit for a chance to win airfare, hotel and two tickets to WWE's renowned annual event. The WWE Games community responded enthusiastically to the opportunity with thousands of entries received by the contest deadline.
"The WWE Universe never ceases to impress when called upon to showcase original, innovative and compelling content," said Chris Snyder, Vice President of Marketing at 2K. "While the breadth of entries represented WWE 2K14 in a strong light, the in-game image of Randy Orton vs. Daniel Bryan truly embodies the full grandeur, spectacle and lifetime of memorable moments delivered annually at WrestleMania."
