WWE Live Event Results From Fresno (2/9): Cena Teases RAW Surprise, Orton Vs. Cena

Thanks to WrestlingINC.com reader VinDaddy for sending in these results from last night's WWE live event in San Jose, CA:

Justin Roberts opened the show, and fans can vote on their phones for a divas dance off or a match between Aksana and Cameron.

* WWE Intercontinental Champion Big E Langston defeated Fandango (with Summer Rae) and Ryback in a triple threat match. Ryback actually gets the biggest pop coming out. Lots of back and forth, actually great action. It surprised me. Big E wins after hitting his finisher on both.

* Curtis Axel defeated Zack Ryder in a quick match with his finisher. Zack had zero response from the crowd, at least Axel had some heat. Horrible match, both missed a lot of spots.

The poll for the divas was revealed and the fance off wins. Cameron wins the dance off over Alicia Fox (with Aksana) and Alicia challenges her to an actual match.

* Cameron defeated Alicia Fox (w/ Aksana) in a decent match with a roll up. Lots of missed spots. Cameron eventually wins with a DDT. Cameron then got beat down by Alicia and Aksana.

* Mark Henry, Xavier Woods and Rey Mysterio defeated The Real Americans and Alberto Del Rio. Zeb Colter really is working the crowd, it was the most entertainment of the night.  Pretty amazing to think only Woods and Cesaro are the only competitors in the match that are not former world heavyweight champs. Lots of fan interaction got the crowd going. Mysterio hits the 619 on Jack Swagger, followed by the Worlds Strongest Slam for the pin.

Intermission

* Darren Young pinned Titus O'Neil. Sadly there is no crowd reaction for either one. This match is over in literally less than four minutes. Too fast to build anything up. Young wins with a mall package

* Wade Barrett defeated The Miz. Miz actually came out to a huge pop! It turns into an Olympic discussion of USA vs. England. There are big "USA!" chants throughout the arena. Lots of great back and forth action. Crowd is chanting, "this is awesome!". Finally Barrett hits Miz with the Bullhammer when Miz jumps off the top rope for the pin.

The cage is set up for the main event.

* WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton defeated John Cena in a steel cage match. Orton came out to definitely a bigger pop than cena. It was actually a pretty good match, nobody was sitting during the whole match. Lots of back and forth with both men trying to escape the cage. Cena even took the Orton feet on the ropes / face plant from the top rope which got the crowd crazy since normally he does it from the second rope. Also, Orton gave the RKO and Cena kicked out. Then a few minutes later, orton took the AA from the top rope and he kicked out. Orton also tried the punt and Cena moved, and Orton's leg went through the cage door. He was halfway out hanging on the floor with Cena holding 1 ankle. Crowd was on fire by then. It ended when Orton hit Cena with a low blow. He then pinned Cena clean and the crowd goes crazy.

After the match, Orton goes out gets a chair and starts beating the side of the cage. As he gets ready to go back in cage, Cena gets up and Orton does the slip out. I'm not sure if they changed the ending from Oakland since the crowd was so in to Orton or just trying different things out. Cena gets on the mic and says that tomorrow night [tonight's RAW] Orton won't have a cage or steel chairs to protect him and for all of us to tune in since he has a surprise coming.
