Can Ronda Rousey Beat Floyd Mayweather?, Bellator CEO On Rampage In TNA, Rampage Vs. King Mo Set

- UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey believes she just may be the person to beat undefeated boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather Jr... in an MMA fight. She told Power 106 FM in Los Angeles, which you can listen to above, that she would take Mayweather to the ground and it would all be over.

"I would drop down to the ground and crawl over to him as fast as I can," Rousey said. "I wouldn't even stand up, I wouldn't be near him. I would just do a little army crawl over there and he would have to run away. I would just be skittering after him like the one dude in Bloodsport that was doing the whole monkey crawl fight system. I would do that. I would just bear crawl over there, too low for him to hit me, and tackle him down. I spent a lot of time on the ground, and I doubt that he does."

- Bellator MMA officially announced today that Quinton "Rampage" Jackson vs. King Mo Lawal will serve as the co-main event for their first pay-per-view, Alvarez vs. Chandler III, on May 17th. The fight is in the finals of the Bellator Light Heavyweight Tournament, and the winner will go on to get a shot at the Bellator Light Heavyweight Championship.

"I've been wanting to come back to Memphis for the last decade, and I'm finally getting that chance to fight in one of the biggest fights of my career for Bellator," Rampage said. "After being part of the Bellator family for a while now, I feel like the old Rampage, and that's not a good thing for Mo. I'm back, I'm a monster, and I'm looking to put on another entertaining fight for all my fans on May 17th."

King Mo noted that he's wanted to fight Rampage for a long time.

"When it comes down to it, this is a fight I've wanted for a long time, and I'm going to be able to beat his ass in his hometown, and everyone is going to respect me," Mo said. "Rampage is just a stepping stone in my way to get that title shot again and get that belt. It's all I want, and after I beat Rampage, I'm going for that belt, simple as that."

- Speaking of Rampage and Mo, MMASucka.com recently spoke to Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney, who talked about their futures in TNA.

"Dixie [Carter] and I talk pretty regularly," Rebney said. "We are going to really rev up the wrestling training. We have coaches and trainers traveling to Southern California to help him get through the process of becoming a well-rounded professional wrestler. The essence of what wrestling is, that it's a real skill and you have to learn the craft. We hope he adapt to it quickly and after the May fight, Rampage will be doing full blown matches.

"I mean I think about it but the reality is this: Guys like Rampage and Mo, they are world class athletes. If they aren't doing TNA Impact they are training MMA. They aren't going to be sitting on the lazy boy watching COPS, they will always be active. The power of the Impact TV show is amazing. Both want to do it and it's a risk you have to assume and take. These are athletes that takes risks and at times they will get injured."
