Chael Sonnen Comments On Wanderlei Fight, Weidman & Hendricks Return Updates, Cormier

- The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil 3 coach Chael Sonnen talked about his upcoming fight against fellow TUF coach and longtime rival Wanderlei Silva at the TUF finale on May 31 on last night's episode of UFC Tonight. Despite seemingly taking a jab at Silva currently living in Las Vegas, he seemed fine with the fight being in Wanderlei's home country of Brazil.

"I said I'm not fighting him in his hometown of Las Vegas," he said. "It's got to be in a neutral location. It's on in Sao Paulo, Brazil."

- Current UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman, who was recently forced to pull out of his championship defense at UFC 173 against Lyoto Machida due to an injury of his right knee, is going to need minor surgery on both knees. The injury on his left knee stems from a persistent issue he has had since high school.

His surgery is currently scheduled for this coming Tuesday. His camp anticipates a four week recovery window, and it shouldn't affect his ability to defend his title in the rescheduled bout against Lyoto Machida at UFC 175 in July.

- Current UFC welterweight champion Johny Hendricks underwent successful surgery to fix a torn right bicep. The injury came two weeks prior to his fight against Robbie Lawler at UFC 171 and nearly forced him to withdraw from the event. Hendricks currently faces a four-to-eight-week recovery window, and then he will resume training. He hopes to fight again later this year.

- Demian Maia vs. Mike Pierce is currently in talks for inclusion on the TUF Brazil 3 finale on May 31st. Additionally, Daniel Cormier vs. Rafael Cavalcante is being mulled over for UFC 175 on July 5th.
