Konnan Blasts TNA And Dixie Carter, Tanahashi & Okada In ROH, Nakamura, Disco Inferno, More
- Konnan recently appeared on the Joe Cronin Show and had some harsh words for TNA. He said that TNA President Dixie Carter doesn't know what she's doing, and noted that TNA should have hired Paul Heyman when they had the chance.
"[TNA] would still be number two even if there was no WWE," Konnan said. "That f—ing show really sucks. You should see it now, they have the owner, Dixie Carter, and some j-ckoff [named] Potato Spuds or whatever his name is. They are like the worst thing on TV since the Aces & 8's."
- Speaking of Konnan, he catches up with Disco Inferno this week on MLW Radio. The two talk about Money Mayweather hitting the Vegas strip clubs, Disco and Konnan wrestling in a WCW ladder match over a rubber disco duck, fans hijacking WWE shows, Disco's time working on both the WCW and TNA booking committees and more. - As noted earlier, Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling will be running two joint shows in May; "Global Wars" on May 10th in Toronto, and "War of the Worlds" on May 17th in New York City. ROH announced that current IWGP Heavyweight Champion "Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada, Shinsuke Nakamura and six time IWGP Heavyweight Champion Hiroshi Tanahashi will be appearing at those events.
