Teixeira Plans To Knock Out Jon Jones, Dana White's UFC On FS1 Vlog, Matt Hughes Talks TRT Ban
- UFC President Dana White recently released a vlog ahead of this Sunday's UFC Fight Night: Shogun vs. Henderson 2 event on FS1. It takes a behind the scenes look at UFC 169 and 170, you can check it out above.
- Glover Teixeira, who will face off against UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones at UFC 172 on April 26 for the title, took to Inside MMA recently to discuss the fight and was asked if he thought he could beat Jones.
"Yeah, of course. I have the power to beat him. I have the skills. I have to believe in my skills that it's going to work against his skills," Teixeira said. "People always tell me, oh, we'll bring you this guy or that guy to simulate Jon Jones, but I don't really worry about him. In my mind, he has to worry about what I'm going to do to him. He's the champion, but hey, I believe in my skills. I believe that April 26th, I'm going to go over there and knock this guy out."
- Speaking of Inside MMA, former two-time UFC Welterweight Champion and Hall of Famer Matt Hughes recently took to the show as well to give his thoughts on the recent TRT ban issued by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
"I never did illegal drugs. I never took steroids. I never did anything because I was really happy with who I was. These guys who are taking some of this stuff, it's not who God made you. I'm a Christian," Hughes said. "Let's just draw the line right now that way down the road we know where we're at. Let's go in there as God made us."
